Kansas City BBQ Store Invitational ContestHi Barbecue Fan: 2011 has begun a new type of year for the Great American Barbecue Festival. We have had to make changes to become a viable event for barbecue teams, the public, and our community. We have a new focus on our charities of the FOX4 LoveFund, Kookers Kare, Guadelupe Center, and St. Mary's Food Kitchen. We are not able to sponsor and Invitational Barbecue Contest in 2011 and also are working on bringing the World Brisket Open back in 2012. The Great American Barbecue Festival will be held May 20 & 21, 2011 at the Overland Park International Trade Center. Thank you! Tracy |
